The Morrison Government is strengthening Australia’s position as a leading digital economy by launching a new training program designed to lift the digital literacy of company directors.

The Morrison Government is reinforcing Australia's situation as a main computerized economy by dispatching another preparation program intended to lift the advanced education of organization chiefs.

The Digital Directors Training Program will be conveyed by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and includes 10 internet based modules that cover themes like advanced venture methodology, computerized change and current cutthroat strategic policies.

The preparation program is essential for a more extensive $22 million computerized business bundle, which incorporates extra help for independent venture through a development of the Australian Small Business Advisory Service's Digital Solutions program.

"As an alum of the AICD, I need to see more Australian organizations putting resources into innovation so they can expand their intensity and efficiency, increment connectedness with purchasers and make new positions in high worth regions."

Angus Armor, Managing Director and CEO of the AICD, said each chief has an obligation to teach themselves on advancement, innovation and disturbance.

"Our examination shows that chiefs perceive the need to expand their abilities around here, and this applies similarly to the overseers of little organizations and noble cause as it does to the heads of our biggest recorded organizations," Mr Armor said.

"This preparation program will assist more chiefs with understanding innovation's effect on their business, how it can drive their intensity and produce new development openings."

To augment the preparation program's scope, the AICD will impart the substance to top industry bodies, including the Business Council of Australia (BCA).

BCA CEO Jennifer Westacott said another preparation bundle to lift the advanced capacities of nearby business pioneers will be basic to modernizing our economy and will make us stronger to digital dangers.

"Having the right abilities at all levels will mean organizations can continue to make new positions and administrations for Australians," Ms Westacott said.
