In-mold & Heat Transfer Label
A labelling method known as inmold labels (IML) is applied during the blow moulding, injection moulding, and thermoformed container processes. IML are coated with a heat-activated adhesive, which is turned on during the application procedure. The label is moulded to the surface of the container. With this kind of label, there is no longer a need for a separate labelling procedure, saving money on the expense of additional labelling equipment and the extra labour required to apply it.
The printing design of a heat transfer label will transfer onto the surface of the container by using a special kind of heat reactive material during the labelling process. In the printing of plastic containers, this labelling procedure is very prevalent. The speed and quality of the graphic printing are the main benefits of this process. On the surface of the plastic container, the printed design adheres exceptionally well.
