International students have assigned the top spot to Canada, in a poll, in a list of ideal destinations for studying abroad.
The number of international students aiming to study in Canada has grown since May 2017.
The International Student Admissions Service found in a poll that 62 percent of respondents gave the top spot to Canada. In the poll held in April 2017, only 27 percent of respondents had placed Canada as their preferred choice. The reasons cited by students in favor of Canada were:
Excellent academic ranking
Many job opportunities after completion of graduation
Secure environment
Lively cultural life
Geographically beautiful place
Welcoming nature and sound economy
The USA was the second preferred choice, gaining 42 percent of votes. Europe, the UK, and Germany had limited following.
The reason for Canada topping the list are not far to seek:
