As a senior nurse, I'll start with your education, followed by your work experience. This sets the tone for who you are and what you have to offer your employees.

If you held a leadership position in your fraternity or sorority chapter, and you are looking for your first or second full-time job out of college, then, yes. Once you’re a mid-career, unless you’ve done a lot of volunteer work as an alum, skip it and focus your nursing resume writing service on your employment history and on what you can contribute to the company to which you’re submitting your resume.

 

When I put together my resumes for internships and my first jobs out of college, I listed my sorority membership, my position on the chapter’s executive board, and my membership in the Order of Omega. That last item got some positive attention. But it’s been years since I’ve presented a resume that had any mention of my sorority affiliation.
