Since the first steam-powered ships enhanced the speed and stability of the vessels, passenger ships have developed an image of luxury and fun within the eyes of many people. The old fantasy of ocean liners whisking individuals away over the seas in accommodation fit for a top of the range hotel looms large within the minds of many people. This is certainly not the case for all passenger vessels, but that demand is what resulted in the creation of the cruiseferry. This ship is a mix of a standard ferry, typically one which can accommodate vehicles, with many of the features of a cruise ship. There are many explanations why individuals opt for a ferry service. One is that numerous are able to carry cars, meaning that individuals can drive upon reaching their location. This feature is rare for trains and does not exist among commercial aircraft.
