According to the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, around 14 million citizens of United States are the patients of rosacea. Although the exact cause of this skin disorder is unknown, one of the causes recently revealed through research, especially on webmd.com, is the infestation of microscopic Demodex parasites. These mites feed on the oily sebum layering the skin and are found to be 10 times more in people having rosacea. This indicates that rosacea patients need a treatment that can remove these mites permanently from the body.
