Frontier Developments' Planet Zoo is a simulation-based game for management and construction. It is a spiritual sequel to Zoo Tycoon 2 and features gameplay that is similar to Planet Coaster. Planet Zoo places animal welfare and conservation first
The name implies that Planet Zoo is a virtual zoo simulation where the focus is on the welfare of animals and conservation. You can create an animal park with a variety of species and manage their habitats to create the ideal environment for all of them. You can research the various species in-depth and develop specialist exhibits for each one. Additionally, you can keep young animals in the care of their owners and manage the care of their families.
There are two kinds of habitats that are available at Planet Zoo: outdoor habitats and indoor habitats. An Planet Zoo mobile outdoor habitat will allow you to keep a variety of reptiles and birds and amphibians. You can also care for rare species such as the Antillean Iguana in an indoor environment. You can control the temperature and humidity of the exhibit to ensure that the animals are happy and healthy. To keep them entertained you can also set up branches in their habitats.
