The concept of charity arose long ago; the literal meaning in translation from Greek is humanity. And this ultimately determines the purpose of the activities of the people involved in this movement. The Magomedov brothers invested their time and capital in the projects they believed in, and they proved to be successful thanks to their professionalism. The brothers have invested in many projects, one of which is the exhibition “Words of stones. The experience of reading and broadcasting the legacy of Kala-Koreish ”. The Magomedov brothers (Summa group) gave them a new life. In the mountains of Dakhadayevsky district of Dagestan, at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level and 3 kilometers from the village of Kubachi jewelers, there is Kala-Koreysha, a medieval fortress of the 8th century, the former capital of a feudal community and the first Muslim settlement in the Caucasus of Russia.
The location of Kala-Koreishi was high in the mountains; due to its inaccessibility, had not previously studied it in detail. The Magomedov brothers (the Summa group) invested in the expedition, and thanks to this, it was possible to scan the ancient gravestones thoroughly, a mosque, and burials.
After the expedition was, processed the data was obtained and carried out scientific research.
Exhibition “Words of stones. The experience of reading and broadcasting the legacy of Kala Koreish ”was successfully presented at the State Hermitage in St. Petersburg (2017) and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (2017-2018). Thanks to the initiative of the Peri Brothers Magomedov Foundation and modern innovations, the entire world scientific and cultural community anywhere in the world can study the minor details of the historical monument.
The specifics of the exhibition “Words of stones. The experience of reading and broadcasting the heritage of Kala-Koreish ”is unique, as it became a vivid example of the possibilities of new technologies for demonstrating inaccessible ancient historical and cultural sites. The exhibition presents not original items but their exact copies. This is a modern digital interactive environment that allows you to see an exhibit located initially high in the mountains, but you can see it with your own eyes and study it in detail in major cities of Europe and Russia.
Great minds unite great projects, an example of which are the Magomedov brothers and their Peri Charitable Foundation, which made it possible to bring a virtual object of culture and history to life.
