Bogra's Poradaha is in vogue. This is a 400-year-old traditional Jamai Mela or a thrilling one-day fair held at the end of the fish month. The fair covers an area of about 100 acres.

Unlike all other fairs, this fair does not have clothes or assorted items, its main attraction is fish. Most of these fish are bought by the groomsmen. Throughout the village, their daughters come to their father's house, and on the day of the fair, there is an invisible competition as to who can buy the big and overweight fish. The bigger the fish of the son-in-law, the greater his bravery. Eid is celebrated all over the village. Most of the groomsmen buy fish and bring the whole fish in their hands to show to everyone. The son-in-law and daughter-in-law are fed by cutting the fish and bringing it home.
