Are Paperback Versions Of Books Good, Or Should They Be Replaced By Kindle Versions?
The privacy of having a Kindle does not match that of a paperback. You can lock your Kindle, and no one will be able to find what books you read. It’ll be a simple secret that no one will find out.

Are Paperback Versions Of Books Good, Or Should They Be Replaced By Kindle Versions?

Every reader knows the feeling of entering a good bookshop and being able to smell each book as they pass by. The feeling of buying a hardcover original and being able to save all the emotions you felt when you first read the book. The teardrops on the page of a murder and the little joy you felt when the main characters finally hinted at their love for each other.

A kindle, however, caters to the busy reader that resides in a human. The easy tablet is made to be a perfect size and can be held in one’s hand with utmost convenience. The lighting and shape are super effective in retaining a reader’s attention. You wouldn’t have to force yourself to read, and your love for reading will drive you to it.

This debate is something to ponder over. If you’re stuck between buying a kindle or thinking of sticking with the classics, this might help you decide.

Kindle

A Kindle is now a classic, almost everyone who admires a good reading device will like a Kindle. The tablet is made to be hand-held and is convenient for even the smallest hands. Kindle gives you access to thousands of books that can be bought and downloaded from Amazon.

My book “Skimming The Surface” is available on both Kindle and paperback versions. The book is easy and will be conveniently over after a few hours of reading when on Kindle. The Kindle also has an anti-glare screen that allows you to read at night. Instead of carrying a whole book worth 300 pages, you could simply have a lightweight Kindle to cater to you.

The privacy of having a Kindle does not match that of a paperback. You can lock your Kindle, and no one will be able to find what books you read. It’ll be a simple secret that no one will find out.

Paperback

The wonders of the paperback are unmentionable. There’s just a certain nostalgia about turning the pages after completing one that helps you really feel the emotions written down on the paper. The satisfaction one gets after buying a new book is unmentionable, and the feeling of adding it to your collection on the bookshelf is equally great.

Though the book may not have the lightest weight and may also not have a dictionary feature, but the process of being able to find the meaning of the word and re-reading the paragraph again to understand the true feelings behind it makes it all worthwhile.

Unlike a Kindle, you can lend your book to someone else for a  quick read. It’ll help you stay connected to those who read and may even enable you to ask for a few favors when it comes to reading and lending books.

The paperback versions of books are also retelively the same price as the e-book version costing a minor difference of a few bucks.

In the end, the choice remains evidently on you. Owning a Kindle will make things convenient, and you can always buy the paperback version if you feel like it. However, neither one can replace the other.
