What are some of the drawbacks of utilising Natural Biomaterials?
Natural Biomaterials

Natural Biomaterials take a long time to make due to the lack of an organic phase, nonhomogeneous particle size and form, large grain size, challenging porosity control, shaping difficulty, brittleness, slow degradation rate, and high density.

On a microscopic or macroscopic scale, composite materials are those that have two or more unique constituent materials or phases. Bone, wood, dentin, cartilage, and skin are examples of natural composites. Lung, cancellous bone, and wood are examples of natural foams.
