The ceramic substrate materials mainly include aluminum oxide, aluminum nitride, beryllium oxide, silicon carbide, boron nitride, silicon nitride, etc. In view of the current market comprehensive price and product performance, alumina and aluminum nitride are the two most common substrates. Although the price of aluminum nitride is about 4 times that of alumina, due to its high thermal conductivity and the better heat dissipation performance, the aluminum nitride is currently the most commonly used substrate, followed by alumina.For the major players of ceramic submount, the Kyocera maintained its first place in the ranking in 2019, followed by Murata, CITIZEN FINEDEVICE, etc. The Top 3 players accounted for about 50% market share of the overhead conveyor system.
