What You Did Not Consider
To understand how to get rid of pet fur of carpets, the best way I require you to think about your head. When you comb your hair, the comb removes old Fur between the bristles.
Combing the hair is a very effective way to get rid of the old hair, but I’m not going to take my little brush and comb the carpet. That would be unreasonable.
It would be good if someone created a large comb so I could comb my carpets and free the Fur from it. Well, they do, and it’s known as a carpet rake.
Many people don’t know carpet rakes exist, and they have to be the best way to get rid of the hair out of carpets. They also do great to weaken the carpet fibers making the vacuum more effective at cleaning. I would not advise using a carpet rake on Berber style carpets.

With a good carpet rake, the vacuum you require won’t matter so long as it has excellent suction. I have never found a vacuum cleaner that collects as much pet fur compared to a carpet rake.
What I do is comb the carpet using the carpet rake and dispose of the hair in one place and then use my vacuum cleaner’s hose extension to suck it up.
Do Pet Vacuums Have Any Advantages?
Yes, most of them do give some unique functionalities that make them worth it. When it comes to carpet, you require a vacuum that has a beater brush, the spinning brush under the vacuum, to clean the carpets thoroughly. For hardwood surfaces,the beater brush requires to be off or not there.
This beater brush is known for getting stuck with hair all the time. What many best pet hair vacuums cleaners have is the capability to clean that brush with ease.
