Devprayag is popularly known as one of the Panch Prayags, the confluence of five rivers. The city is located in Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. The place is located on the banks of the major Rivers: Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River. The city is nestled beautifully in the lap of Himalayas, is of immense spiritual significance and rich heritage. It is here, that the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi takes place and form the holy stream, Ganga. The city has an average elevation of 830 metres.
