A Gate valve can be a linear-motion manual valve that features a vertical rectangular or circular disc that slides across a job opening to stop the flow that acts as “gate”. Generally useful for isolation purposes fully open or close, Gate valves like stainless steel sight glass usually are not suitable for throttling service since the high-velocity flow can cause a partially open disk to vibrate and chatter and can hasten the erosion with the disc and seating surfaces.
Single or double-disc slab gate valves are ideal for oil and gas pipelines with DN50-DN300, class150-900 / PN1.0-16.0 Mpa, operating temperature -29 ~ 121℃. In the case of pipeline with piggable design, make use of a rising stem gate valve which has a diversion hole. Soft or metal to metal sealing design can be obtained with different wedge configurations for instance solid wedge, flexible wedge or with the splitted configuration wedge to meet the specific service conditions. FCA through conduit gate valves are also available in Slab Gate and Expanding Gate design and both SS and SE models are fully adhere to API 6D Specification.
FCA Gate valves come having a variety of end connections: Flanged type, as standard, is included with Raised Face (RF) based on ASME Class 150#, 300# and 600#, along with Ring-Type-Joint flanges (RTJ) for Class ratings of 900#, 1500# and 2500#. Buttwelded ends can be supplied, with schedule in line with customer specifications.
