The term Green Screen comes from the Green Chroms Screen that is used as a background that is removed and replaced with another background during video capture or post production. Green is an uncommon colour on the human skin and clothes with green are avoided on the person speaking to the camera.
The technique is useful to capture video interviews where the location, situation and ambience ( audio, light, people and traffic ) are not conducive for capture on location. This finds its way through training videos, corporate film interviews, e – learning videos, Motion Graphics and animation all the way up to Advertisements.
