A suspect in connection to the murder of hip-hop singer Young Dolph one year ago, was arrested by police on Friday, the department confirmed.

Jermarcus Johnson has been identified as the fourth suspect taken by police in connection to the November. 17th, 2021 fatal shooting of hip-hop star close to the local bakery, Bakeda's Cookies Homemade.
Memphis police earlier this week announced that Johnson was wanted as a suspect and was wanted in connection with a conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and sought assistance from the public in locating the suspect.
"We're saying that he was a part of helping one shooter escape, and also assisted one shooter get cash for the murder that was solicited," Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy told NBC affiliate WMC of Memphis.
The court records online do not seem to indicate Johnson did not have an attorney that could speak on behalf of Johnson.
Three other individuals have been charged and arrested in connection with the murder.
Cornelius Smith, 32; Justin Johnson, 24; and Hernandez Govan, 43, are charged with first degree murder, as well as other charges.
Govan was accused of being the mastermind behind his murder. He pleaded not guilty during his initial court appearance Thursday, WMC reported.
Dolph who was known as Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr. He was 36 years old when his death occurred.
The man was visiting Memphis to participate in the annual Thanksgiving dinner and stopped at the bakery in the event of being shot, according to his lawyer that he was shot at the time of the shooting.
