What should you do first and foremost when you travel?

What do you need to do to make sure your trip goes well? To help you plan a trip, read on. Watch the show.

Before you go on a trip, you need to write down a detailed plan.

In advance, make a list of places to go, things to do, and activities to do. Before you go, think about everything that is possible. So, you can enjoy your vacation without having to worry about making a plan of what to do. Even when you're traveling with a lot of people, it can be hard to figure out what everyone wants to do and when. To put it another way, get all of the things that aren't interesting out of the way so that you can fully enjoy yourself. The best thing to do before going on a vacation is to practice answering a quick pop quiz about your trip plans.

For the second step, you need to get offline maps from the library.

It's important to make sure that the map isn't just any map, but an offline map! Mobile networks in the UK, such as Three, are making it easier to use your data allowance in other countries. Even so, even this has its limits, so if you want to be able to navigate your way through your holiday while on the move without having to pay a huge mobile phone bill when you get back home, download offline maps of the places you want to visit before you leave. With so many free apps, there are no more excuses for not taking a map with you when you go on a trip. It's possible to get paper maps from the hotel, hostel, or villa where you're staying driving directions. But more often than not, those maps will be torn and useless after just a few hours of use, leaving you back at the beginning of your journey.

Make sure you are both open-minded and responsible when you talk to people.

Even if you have the best vacation plans, it's important to be able to change your plans. In order to be more flexible, you might have to change some of your plans or add a few more things to your list. In any case, my advice is to do what you think is best for you. There is no reason not to fully enjoy the experience while you're away from home. During your road trip across America, Longhorn Cavern State Park is closed because of the government shut down. Instead, go to the Caverns of Sonora instead of the Grand Canyon. Surprise yourself with the many things you can do that aren't on your pre-planned list. While driving from Orlando to Pensacola Beach, we made a stop at Ichetucknine Springs and went tubing down a river. This was clearly not on the itinerary, but it turned out to be one of our most memorable moments of the trip. There were turtles that came right up to us, snakes on trees, and a wild manatee (which was filmed on the GoPro) that we would have missed otherwise. It was well worth the trip!

DARE TO CHANGE YOUR VIEWS.

As we said before, this is connected to the previous point. Then, think of a way to do something that you wouldn't usually think about. When you go on vacation, you can do so many things that you can't do at home. There are many things you could do if you live in a flat city like Amsterdam, like try new foods or go mountain climbing. When on vacation, you should try to learn something new because these are the moments that you will remember and, in the end, treasure.

FIND OUT OTHER WAYS TO PLAY.

There is nothing better than the fact that you're on vacation! Don't be greedy! Taking safety measures now is not a good idea. One last thing: I'm not suggesting that you go to Vegas and spend three months' pay on gambling, but you should be able to have a really good lunch or even just a drink that you can't afford at home. They are a time to relax and reward yourself for the hard work that led you to this point. Don't settle for anything less than a great vacation that will make your friends and family jealous when you come back from your trip!
