Non-invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) Market

An NIPT is risk-free for both you and your infant because it only requires a brief blood sample using a needle and syringe. At the doctor's office or a lab, all you have to do is extend your arm. Your sample is then delivered to a lab, where a worker will examine your blood's DNA for any indications of anomalies.

When your Non-invasive Prenatal Testing results come back, your doctor will probably compare them to those from your first-trimester ultrasound or nuchal translucency screening to decide whether more testing is required. Depending on the results, your doctor can advise a follow-up amniocentesis or CVS to confirm the outcome and look for any further issues NIPTs can't find.
