Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Market

Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism are two types of venous thromboembolism (VTE) (PE). VTE has a high rate of morbidity and costs patients, hospitals, and governments a tonne of money. Risk factors for VTE can be acquired or inherited. Noninvasive, cost-effective diagnostic methods, such as clinical probability assessment and D-dimer measurement, can be used to diagnose VTE. These methods can be followed up with compression ultrasonography for patients with suspected DVT, and multidetector computed tomography angiography for patients with suspected PE. To treat and prevent VTE, there are mechanical and pharmaceutical therapies.
