The One Interesting Thing You Probably Didn't Know About The Rotary Piston Flow Meter That You Use
You may have been using the same flow meter for years now, but there's one thing you probably didn't know about it: It's not just a simple instrument. Its secret is in its ability to measure different kinds of liquids as they flow through it.

The rotary piston flow meter has two main parts: the main body and the stem. The stem connects to a glass tube that holds the liquid sample or test material, and this is where all of your measurements will be taken. A piston connects to both ends of the stem, so when you press down on the piston's handle (which is called your "trigger"), it moves forward and backward inside its housing, which causes the stem to move up and down inside its housing as well. That movement creates resistance; when you release your trigger, the resistance goes away and your readings change accordingly!
